Let’s Dance

Bill and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on July 3rd. July 3rd was also the 3rd month anniversary since our dear son William passed away. Needless to say, treat we did not celebrate. We had a nice surprise though, unhealthy my granddaughter and her mother, Anne, sent us the most beautiful bouquet of roses. They made us smile. Smiling is not something I am doing a of lot these days, but I’m trying. A couple of days ago a friend sent me something via email. I want to share it with you. It makes me happy when I watch it, so I watch it a lot. It’s called Let’s Dance

We are invited to our friend’s house tonight for dinner. It will be good to go out.

Take care.

Carole

    Carole,
I loved the video. It made my heart dance. Even though we may all dance to the beat of a different drummer, the important part is to “Just Dance”.
    Thanks for sharing,
    Barb

    Hi Carole:

I think you have a great friend who sent you the video. I’m sure, for a least a minute, it made you smile and forget your pain. Having never lost a child, I surely don’t want you to think that for one minute I understand what it’s like for you and your husband. But I know enough to understand that it must be the biggest hurt and the largest void there must be in a parent’s life. From reading your blog I know that you have a jest for life and see beauty in the world that God has made for all of us .Therefore, I know that when your time comes…you will be dancing in the street and your son will be smiling down on you.

    Blessings to your family..
    Deb

    Hello dear Carole!

Oh, I wish I had a dancing partner…my hubby doesn’t care much for dancing! Happy 50th Anniversary! Now that is truly a blessing! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Gather your friends close and allow them to help with the healing.

    Hugs,
    Jen

..[singing] “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier.” “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier.” “I’ve got soul but I’m…” hee, hee. LOVED the video! It’s iron clad proof that no matter what life deals us that we must all continue to dance. Yes?

…Hello dear Carole! Those roses are just lovely and befitting for such a kind soul such as you.

…I haven’t been online much with the exception of Facebook or Pinterest. I saw your comments this morning on Facebook and just had to come by for a visit. Thank you so much for commenting, seeing you always brings joy. I think of you often and can only hope and pray that you are able to enjoy the Autumn air, find simple joys and manage a smile now and then. My heart goes out to you and when I say a prayer I always ask God to look over you and comfort you thru this most difficult time.

…Thinking of you & sending warm thoughts and a hug your way dear friend.

    …Much love & blessings too.
