I Fell on the Ice Yesterday

fell.jpg

Yesterday, cialis at the end of the day, I picked up my wood carrier and headed out to the woodpile to get more wood for the fire. I thought I was being careful, but I wasn’t careful enough. I slipped on the ice, fell down and landed on my back. On the way down, my first reaction was to put my hands out to try and break my fall. I am thankful that I didn’t hit my head. Bill was downstairs in his studio, and had no idea what had happened. There I was, in the dark, laying on the ice. It was freezing cold outside and I just wanted to get back into my house, but I sure was hurting. I fell on my butt and hurt my tailbone, but it’s my left wrist that hurts more then anything. I can’t put any pressure at all on my hand, so I can’t use it, BUT thankfully I can type! I would be lost if I couldn’t use my computer. So I just wanted to remind everyone to be careful when you’re out and about. Falling is not fun!!
Still A Happy day
Carole

Hi Carole: Thank Goodness your O.K. !!! Ice can be so dangerous! Have you ever heard of Yak-Trax? I’ve had mine for a couple of years but was too “hard-headed” to use them. This year I did….and now I wouldn’t be without them! They fit right over your boots…are comfortable and keep you from falling on the ice. Try them!
    Take care and feel better.

OH NO! I am thankful you did not break anything. You could have fractured your wrist, did you have it checked out.
I really enjoyed reading about the stencils, if I lived in another place I would stencil an entire room! As I said before I have done borders and such, but never an entire room. Also, I love your wall murals, they are lovely.
Take good care and do not go out to get the logs!

PS-Did you go back later to take a photo of the wood pile? If so, that is something I would have done!

Hi Carole: Great website! Very interesting. The guy who put it together must be amazing!! I am sending it to all my friends. I have three girlfriends who are artists. Odile is displaying her art at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia on Marth 13th. Two friends are graphic artist.

My friend, Linda, lives in a 200 year old house and is alway looking for antiques. She has one room she calls her Flag Room (done in red, white, and blue, with lots of antique wooden game board). She will love your website.
