Headin’ to Rehoboth Today

Bill and I will be heading to Rehoboth today. We’re going to have dinner with some friends. I am looking forward to it. On the way down, sickness I will be stopping at some of the antique shops I like to visit in the area. I’ll be looking for more pewter. So many of you emailed me and requested I get more. I am on a mission, so I am hoping I can find some nice pieces for the store. I wanted to thank everyone that also emailed me about the Arnold Print Works animals. The cat and the pugs sold, but I do have this very rare monkey. He is also dated 1892. If you would like to read more about him, you can find him in Caroles Country Store. All of these animals look wonderful in a basket, very primitive and charming.

I have a small collection of APW cats. They sit on my desk, in a little basket. I don’t know what it is about them, but they just make me happy when I look at them.

I have an original 1892 pattern that I am going to sell in my store soon. If you have any interest in it, let me know, as these cats are very popular and when I have them, they seem to sell very quickly.

As I write this post, it’s kind of weird outside. Looks like hail, and I can hear thunder in the distance. It’s really a good day to stay inside, but it’s more fun antiquing. Off I go. I’ll tell you all about my day, and hopefully I have some pictures to show you. So until our next visit-
Happy day everyone, make it a good one!
