Carole’s Luncheon
Hi, sickness it’s me.
I was invited to Carole’s on Friday, advice for a luncheon, along with three of my other favorite friends. Aren’t girlfriends just the best!! We had such a great time together. It’s been way to long since we have done this, and we really must remember to take some time out of our busy days, to spend with friends that we love. So thank you, Carole. The food was so yummy. Carole’s husband, Ted, made everything! Ceasor salad, sliced smoked chicken breast, and macaroni and shrimp salad. Louise, made blueberry breadpudding, that was wonderful. I need to get that recipe. I brought a gooey butter cake from the farmers market. So we had plenty to eat. Carole lives in a wonderful old house in Kennett Square, PA. She has a real flare for decorating and is always finding new ways to make her house look fabulous. This is the side of her house. I forgot to take the front! Darn!
This is the view from the back. She just tore down and old greenhouse and replaced that space with a screened in porch. This is where we all sat to have our lunch.
Time to eat. That’s Carole with the blond hair. Louise is in the background, and Denis on the left.
Bill always teases me because he thinks I spend so much time looking at paint colors, but as you can see, we all love looking at them and giving one another ideas.
This is Diane and Denis. They both live in old houses too, in fact all of my friends live in old house. Louise just moved into hers last Spring.
Let’s go into Carole’s living room. You gotta love it!
And this is the dining room.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the photos today. I took them all for you. That’s all for today. So until the next visit, as always, I wish you a-
Happy day.
Carole-don’t forget to visit the store. There are some new goodies there and more are coming!

You and Carole and Louise…all of your buddies are so neat and artsy and interesting, you just can’t truly understand that unless you’ve been lucky enough to meet you guys in person, like me! Hi, Carole ~ Looks like you had a fun, fun time ! Aren’t true-blue friends of the heart that don’t judge or condemn but accept one another as they are (cause none of us is perfect, are we?) the best ??? Treasures worth hanging onto, for sure — we surely find out in life’s storms which are real and which are bogus, don’t we. Thanks for sharing your wonderful “day with gurlfrenz” — and the food looks yummy yummy!
Happy Weekend that’s almost here !
