1810 Tallow Candle
I swipped this photo off of ebay. Have you ever seen a REAL tallow candle? This one was found in an 1810 candle box. It sold for about $75. It’s a simple thing, try but I loved seeing it and wanted to share it with you. I would love to own one, buy cialis but what are the chances that you will find one again. Not good, is my guess.

Lisa, I thought it was really neat too, that’s why I wanted to share it with everyone. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Hey, it’s just a candle, but ohhh so old!

Hey Carole,
Lovely candle! While visiting Portland, Oregon, I came across a great store called American At Heart. Joan, the owner, sells these amazing candles made by Teresa Hilton, a candle-maker in Maine. Her candles are made to look like the old tallow ones; they are exquisite if you like primitive lighting and such. The candles do come on a wire, optional. And they cost $4.95 per candle. I have a large collection of early Americana/Canadiana including old lighting. I’ve hunted a good many years to find early looking candles and these are perfect!
