Would You Like To Come Too?

Good morning friend. It’s a glorious day, treat and I want to take a little walk around the yard this morning. I think I’ll take my coffee with me. Would you like to come too? Let’s go this way.

I love the different kinds of thyme that grows along the path in my garden. Some of it is in bloom, physician and it looks so pretty. This is a very old pear tree, seek and it’s my favorite. Let’s take the path that leads to the woods.

I love walking down this path, the smell of the pine trees is wonderful, and most times when I do, I can hear the flapping and the chirping of the doves as they fly out of the trees. I wish I didn’t frighten them so much.

There’s my buddy, the gargoyle. That’s what I call him, but I really think he is called a “grotesque”.

Ah, don’t you love the smell of wild roses. They fill the air with the most beautiful fragrance. Mother nature is amazing, isn’t she?

This little boy statue is very old. I bought it at an antique shop. It had a crack on the base, but Bill fixed it for me. He loves him too.

Ok, come on through here. Watch out for my turtle. Sometimes I’ll see him as I walk through this area.

Listen to those crows! I don’t know why I love their sound so much. It reminds me of Summer, I guess. There are lots of them that live in these woods. There’s a giant hawk too. You always know when he’s around, the crows are so noisy. I love sitting here on hot summer days. It’s much cooler in the woods and the sound of the creek water is so comforting. Listen, can you hear it?

I might have said this before, but honestly, I don’t think that there is a day that goes by, in over the twenty five years that I have lived here, that I don’t thank God for this place. I love it here and if I had my way, I would never leave, never, ever! I have to get back to the house now.

I have tons of laundry to do. Thanks for coming with me. Goodbye for now, and remember what I always want for you–
Happy day!
