We Had Some Little Visitors

Bill and I had a really nice weekend. We were looking forward to getting outside and getting some yardwork done. We got up early, cialis and we always enjoy getting our morning coffee and reading the paper together. While we were sitting on the sofa, viagra in the living room, I noticed a couple of small animals in the distance. I thought it might be my neighbors cats playing, but I got up to take a closer look. It was a family of foxes! I called to Bill, “quick, come here! Look! A momma fox and three of her babies!” This is the first time I have seen this. We have had fox walk through the yard before, but never a family. What a treat.

They were adorable. Running across the yard. Back and forth. Leaping in the air. They played like kittens. I ran to get my camera, but by the time I got back, they were behind these burning bushes. Darn, I could see them back there, but I couldn’t get any pictures, and you know how I love taking pictures!!

So I waited and hoped, and soon one of them came in sight. How cute. Nosie little critter.

We enjoyed watching them so much, but too soon they were gone. We finished our coffee, and paper, got breakfast, got dressed, and outside we went. Time to get to work. It felt great. The sun was shining for a change. We have had so many coudy, and rainy days here in Delaware. Bill trimmed, and mowed in front of our stone wall. We love this wall, so we like to keep it mowed in front so you can see it better. I cut the grass, with all the rain we have had, it’s so green and lush. My garden needed a little weeding and I transplanted some flowers to the front of the house. I need to make a little room for some basil and parsley. We just about finished everything we wanted to do, when the clouds came, and it rained like crazy! We came inside and worked a little on my website, and then decided we would make some popcorn and watch a movie. This morning is beautiful. We’re getting ready to got to Honey Brook. Thanks for stopping by again. Off I go.
Happy day

I love your blog! Got to you by way of Christine LeFever. “Your” fox mom and pups (is that what they are called?) are adorable! How beautiful and what a pretty day to be able to get the pictures. Bet they were a ball to watch playing. Thank you for posting them for everyone to enjoy. (Where I am, all of my ‘visitors’ come in the dark. We have raccoons, possums and a darling skunk that waddles along but leaves an ‘unhappy’ smell if he or she is caught off guard by one of the cats!)
    I’ll come ‘visit’ again!

What great pictures Carole. I’ve only seen about 3 red foxes my whole life. Unfortunately I think the 4th one was laying in the middle of the road just a few weeks ago. What a treat to get to watch them play. My hubby and I love animals. We drove around town this weekend to a few places we haven’t been before. We saw all kinds of little critters out soaking up the good weather. Thanks for the pictures.
