A Simple Pair of Scissors

They are just a simple pair of scissors, medicine but oh what memories they have. I was powerwashing and painting the garage at mother’s house last week. Way in the back of the garage, viagra there is a cabinet that my father used to keep some of his tools in. I thought I have gotten everything cleaned out, sickness but while I was powerwashing this cabinet, I opened a drawer, and discovered way in the back, a pair of scissors. Immediatly I recognized them. Sounds silly, but I held them to my heart. What memories they have. I have not seen these since I was a young child, maybe 5 or 6. I remember my mother and I would love to cut pretty pictures out of magazines, and these are the scissors, I just know they are!! I took them home with me and I put them on my kitchen counter. When I brought my mother over on Friday, I showed them to her. She too remembered them. She told me they once belonged to my grandmother. I don’t know if that is really true, but I think it’s very possible. They’re just a simple pair of scissors, but they’re treasure to me, and I am so glad they found their way back to me.
Happy day.

What Kathy said is so true. Isn’t it amazing something so small can make us so happy. I’d have to keep those scissors out so I could see them everyday. You could tie a piece of twine around them and hang them in your kitchen.
