No doubt that Spring is my favorite time of the year. It was wonderful to enjoy my day at home yesterday. Everything is popping and my yard looks so fluffy. I was walking in my yard and noticed a lot more violets than most years. When ever I see them I think of my mother, cure her name is Violet. I picked a small bouquet for her. I brought her over for a visit. I have not seen her in over a week, and I missed her. She was having what I call, a good day. We had a nice visit. She loves chocolate chip cookies, so we made some together.

After a couple of hours, she was ready to go home. She talked all the way back to her nursing home, how beautiful everything was. It gives her such joy looking at the flowering trees and flowers. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed, her love of flowers and life. Bless her heart.
Happy day.
