It’s My Birthday Today
It’s my birthday today. I am 64! What’s that about!! How did I get that old, discount so fast!! I still feel the same, well, ok, I can’t run very fast anymore, but I still feel like I can. You know your old, when your 89 year old mother asks how old you are, and when you tell her, she has a shocked look on her face and says, “you are old”! She made up for saying that, following her comment by saying, “well, Carole, you certainly don’t look old. You never change.” Ok, mother, I forgive you. LOL- My best friend, Carole, surprised me with something very special. She painted this little portrait for me. Some of you, that bought my DVD, will recognize her. She is in my DVD, and I just love her. Carole did something special, she personalized it for me by painting her holding my DVD in her hand. Can you see it? I know it’s kind of small. Wait, I’ll take a picture, and show you. Be right back. Ok, here it is.
Thanks Carole. You know how much I love it. I got a DVD from Bill, one that I have wanted ever since I saw this very talented singer on utube. Paul Potts is his name. I wrote about him a while back, and was surprised that no one commented. Please check it out, he is wonderful!! I am listening to him sing right now, and he sends chills every time I listen to him. Time to run. Happy day!

Hi Carole!
Happy, Happy Birthday! I hope you have the most glorious day today. Last week I ordered your DVD, and now I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Can’t wait! The portrait is a wonderful gift from your friend Carole, and the CD from your husband is so neat. I too think Paul Potts is fabulous, and when I hear him sing, I start to cry, his talent is a true gift from God. Again, have a great day. Blessings, Kathy

…Happy Birthday Carole!
) Okay, inquiring minds want to know, what are you drinking, eating, applying, etc…to stay so youthful looking? I saw your photo on your site and you look younger than me and I’m 45! Please do tell… Please?
…And what a lovely gift to receive on your birthday from a friend! That is beautiful! And it has that extra special touch that makes it genuinely for you – How endearing!
…Again, here’s hoping your birthday is extra special and happy!
…Peace & blessings…

tj, I don’t know what to say except you made my day! Believe me at age 64, it’s a struggle! Good genes help, but honestly, I work hard at it, and using good skin products help. Moisturize, honey, moisturize!!!, and make your life happy!!

Hi Miss Maddie! Thank you dear for wishing me a happy birthday! Yes, I agree with you, the race car driver was definelty the best! The doll dance Marie did, was awful, and i think our spice girl was not very good either. Let’s hope everyone else agrees!! He’s a sweetie pie, not to mention that sweet dance partner.

Happy Birthday dear Carole! Thankfully, you can’t hear me sing it~ I’m outlawed from singing. I shall do the dance for you then! What better way to celebrate than with special gifts that touch the heart as well as the gifts of friends and family in your life. Thank you for you and your blog~ you’ve given me a great gift in all that you share here!!

Oh my, the first thing I noticed was the little portrait painted by your friend. I too have done that little darling and I love it.
But Carole, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You made me laugh big time at your mother’s response to your age. Yes, it does SOUND old, but hey, we have to be the ones to prove that it isn’t old, right? Of course, I’m still a babe in arms at 60, so I bow to your wisdom

I’m not sure exactly why but this blog is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end?
I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
