This is so fascinating to me. This is the inside of a drawer from a small cupboard. Imagine, troche all those items never moved in that drawer for such a long time that they left their mark! I see the key, but too bad you can’t tell what the other are.

I LOVE this wing chair!!!

This next photo is of a corner desk. Very unusual, don’t you think? So that’s about it. I hope you enjoyed all these wonderful antiques. Once again, I thank you for taking the time to visit. Happy day!

This stoneware deer was the star of the show and it fetched $90, try 000! That’s actually a lot less than is was expected to sell for. From what I know, there is only one other like it. Honestly, I don’t think I would want that in my house, but to each his own, as they say. Would you?

Now, here is something I could learn to love. I have not idea what it sold for. I guess if you have been reading my blog for a while, and visiting my website, you have a pretty good idea of the kinds of things that I love. Tell me what your passions are and how you love to decorate your house. Paint colors, stye, etc., all that fun stuff! I want to show you one more thing and then I have to go. I am having lunch with my two dear friends today, and I have a lot to do before I leave. Ok, two more.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these wonderful early antiques, I know I sure did. I’ll be back tomorrow, to show you the rest of the photos.
Happy day!

Last week I went to an auction preview in Downingtown, for sale PA. My friend invited me to go. I was busy that day, ed and almost didn’t, but she said, “you should, you will see things there that you might never see again”. She was right, and I am so glad I went. It was amazing. I have never seen so many outstanding antiques, all in one place. There were portraits, painted chests, cupboards, chairs, and desks. I felt like I was in the most wonderful museum. I asked if I could take photos, and to my surprise, they said yes! Here are a few I wanted to share with you today. The portraits were gorgeous. The first one, of the child, is my favorite. The colors are just beautiful, don’t you think?

Another favorite of mine was this wonderful basket holder. Look at all those wonderful little baskets! It sold for $20,000.
