I Have A Question

I know this is my second post today, viagra but I have a question. I am wondering if all of you that visit my blog, also visit my website and store. If you do, and I hope you do!, can you tell me if there are any kinds of items you would like to see. I am thinking of opening a store called The Cottage, where I would sell items for those of you that love that cottage look. I saw these shoes yesterday and was tempted to purchase them, but, although, I thought they were beautiful, they aren’t “my thing”, you know I love the primitives, but I want to have items for everyone’s taste. What do you think? I would love to hear from you.

I am also showing a lovely wallpaper covered chest and a bridebox. The bridebox is unusual because it was smaller. So enjoy, and as always, I thank you for your visit. Happy day.

Such beautiful pictures you posted and once again that “Warm Country Feel.”

I think it is so thoughtful of you to think of everyone! There are many people out there that love this type of Art and Decor. It is indeed such a good idea!
Everything you have here is so lovely, and one of a kind. Just love those old Antique looking barns, very nice.

Thank you for stopping in, did you mean the picture on my sidebar? Yes, that is my daughter Mila. She is 18mth. Wow, what a small World. How old is your son now? I think you said he has a family right?

It must be our lovely dark features, (hair & eyes!!) that they get this from, Uh?

    Blessings to you!

Hi again Jeannene. Yes, iI was talking about that little darlin’ on the sidebar. Well, if I told you how old my son was, I would really be giving my age away! Not on your life! Ha!

    “Well Carole”,

If you are the very lovely one in the picture with your beautiful grand-daughter. You look 10 years younger then your actual age, which you do not have to share…

    Oh CAR!!
I think a cottage shop would be just fabulous. I better start saving my pennies – lots of pennies. I love those shoes, you better go buy them right away. There are many of us “eclectic” sorts who decorate their homes with all types of things. Mine is all about pieces I LOVE!! They do not all have to be of one type/era/style for me to be happy. Thanks again for a lovely visit. I needed some distraction.

I think adding pieces that fot in a variety of settings and styles is a great idea! I have a mix of things in my house, and don’t stick with one single “look”. I buy items I love, and they range from prim, to shabby, to art deco, to you name it! LOL! BTW….I LOVE that wallpaper box!!!

Hello dear friends! I am so very sorry to have taken so long to respond to all the wonderful comment you all have left. Jeannene, ten years younger! Oh honey you know you made my day, maybe my week! Thank you. Sunnie and Faye, I am so glad to have you here. What wonderful comments about my site. Oh, that certainly makes me feel so very very happy. I work very hard to make it a fun place to see and knowing you both enjoy it so much, makes it all workwhile. Now, for my dear friend Pam, I knew you would love those shoes! So nice of you to comment on Emily. I am very proud of her. She is beautiful inside and out, smart too. Steph and Sylvia, it’s nice to hear from both of you again. Thank you so much for your input. Guess I will open “The Cottage”. Until next time, take care.

Oh Carole: a cottage shop sounds just wonderful!! While as you can probably can tell from my blog, I love cottage things, but my second passion is primitives. I’ve been in the antiques business for several years and it’s always hard to find things that appeal to everyone. You probably know that being in business yourself, so I decided to buy things that I love and hope that others will too. That way if I’m stuck w/ them and they don’t sell, well at least I’m happy w/ them. I’ve bought things before that wasn’t something I really liked but thought others would, and was disappointed that I was stuck w/ them when they didn’t sell. A friend of mine said that you have to have things that appeals to everyone’s taste, so follow your heart and I’m sure you’ll do well. I do visit your website as well as your blog. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  12. Carole Says:

Hi Theresa. Yes, I do buy things that I love. I have to admit though, it’s very hard to part with them, although I do get to live with them for a while. Every time I sell something, I think, oh, I should have kept that! LOL, well not every time. I just love when I sell something, it makes me so happy that someone found something they love enough to buy it. I know how I feel when I find something that I love. Nothing like it!

  13. Jeannene Says:

    HI Carole,

Thought you might want to stop by my site today. I have a lovely form of Decor. that anybody would love to display in their home. I am helping my friend get the word out on this!!

    Hope you see,
