The Tent Sale
It was 9:30 and a rainly morning. I was still in my robe, treat when my friend called and asked if I wanted to go to the tent sale at Pheasant Run Antiques, treatment in Coatesville, buy Pa. It’s my favorite shop, so I COULDN’T resist. She asked me to meet her at her house, and I was glad she did so I could see her kitchen again. Denis lives in a wonderful old house built in the 18th c., and she just had her kitchen remodeled. I love it. It’s so perfectly done, attention to EVERY detail. After she showed me around,
and I took a couple of pictures, we grabbed some homemade oatmeal cookies, and off we went. I love the drive down rt. 82, around Unionville. It’s all open horse country and every twist and turn is one beautiful old house and barn after another. After an hour’s drive, we were there. It was freezing cold, AND SO WINDY! There were lots to see, but nothing really caught my eye, but then I found a very nice old rag rug rug runner, almost perfect condition, for only $8!! What a deal! Denis found a nice old metal planter anad a beautiful pair of old knitted stockings. We left the sale, happy with our finds, and anxious to get home. I am so glad she called, it was such a fun day!
